¡PRESENTE! Latine Heritage Month 2025
Latine Heritage Month is a time for celebration, learning, and our community! Nationally recognized in 1968 as a week-long celebration, Latine Heritage Month is now a month-long celebration that kicks off with Central American Independence Days. At La Casa, we choose to celebrate Latine Heritage Month to break down the influences of colonization and promote inclusivity of all Latine individuals.
Throughout the month, take time to learn about the various countries within Latin America, support Latine creators, and businesses, and reflect on the Latine community's contributions.
La Casa Cultural Latina proudly presents ¡PRESENTE! as the 2025 Latine Heritage Month Theme as a powerful reminder that our comunidad has always shown up and continues to show up in moments that matter. From histories of resilience and resistance to celebrations of joy and culture, being ¡PRESENTE! means honoring the challenges & rewards that come with being engaged in community. This year’s theme invites us to reflect on the strength of showing up for one another, the importance of being visible in spaces that have overlooked us, and the enduring presence of Latine communities across generations.
